For some days now, I had been hankering for a real gelato, so on my way to the #13 bus stop, I stopped at Cremeria Funivale in the Piazza Cavour. This local ice cream landmark, its walls and floors paved in grey-veined white marble, offers its own specialty flavors, as well as traditional standards. You stand in line to pay... More

Upon recommendation from a local, we stopped in here for an after-lunch treat. The line was long, but moved quickly. The shop is clean and modern with friendly staff. The gelato was creamy and delicious - even the dairy-free flavors. Between the four of us we tried: Alice, Pistachio, 50 Special, San Luca, Fragiole, and Mandarino. All of them were... More

The tastiest and creamiest ice cream! All the flavors are delicious and freshly! Pistachio and Alice (mascarpone with chocolate) are my favorites!

This was our last gelato in Bologna. It all happened so quickly. The food. The gelato. Bologna. Pistachio and fior di latte, two of my favs!! This place is near all the high-end designer stores and fits right in. The decor is modern and sleek. They had a large cake collection which looked very good. Maybe next time I will... More

It's just simply fantastic. Whatever you choose, creamy ice creams with their traditional receipt or a fruity one you can't commit a mistake. Also they make some granitas, which is the best quality I've ever tasted.

We returned here each day. This is the smoothest, most creamy and tasteful gelato I've ever had in many trips to Italy !

If you want good ice cream, this is the place. Dozens of choices, helpful staff, a beautiful interior, and a lovely park outside to enjoy your gelato.

Very nice gelateria, a lot of customs tastes. It was recommended to us by locals from Bologna. 4 of 5 just because one gelateria I saw in Rome was better. Sorry :)
