Tamburini was recommended to me by a local while I was looking for some restaurants to eat. Probably the best tortellini I have ever had. In addition, they have a brilliant collection of wine too to club along with the dishes

I love this place - it feels so very locals only. It's very easy to pick what you want from the line including wine! The food is simple and tastes great. This is a must do in Bologna.

We only wanted a light lunch without yet more bread. The choice was amazing and cost us 20 euros including wine (2 people). Not surprised about slow service remarks by other people as it is mainly self-service at lunch time. Two entrances to it so make sure you go through the shop and not enter the sitting area thinking it... More

Even if it's not cheap, it worth a visit. Ham, mortadella and cheese are really special and veggies too. We tried a handmade beer and a glass of superb wine. In the center, comfortable. There is also a self service but we did not try it. Super kind personnel.

I often look in the window if this place as they always have seemingly nice food on display . So I went in and bought a 'spatchcock' chicken for € 8.50 which the lady behind the counter started to cut it up until I told her not to. It was put into a tinfoil container and wrapped in paper and... More

Our tour guide mentioned she was having lunch here on our day in Bologna, so we decided to try it too. It was the best food we had in Italy, and I would love to go back someday. Do not miss this place!!

This place is turning into a tourist train station. Service is slow, the staff is not nice because overwhelmed and the choice of wines is not what it used to be. Worse, you are given some cheese with the tortellinis by default when one knows that it is a crime for a Bolognese to do that. Quite disappointing.
