Nice Restaurant on a small square of the quieter part of Trastevere. We walked by and lunch - and found the owner to be very helpful, giving us great advice (in Italian). She even brought us some pasta to try. Very much enjoyed this.

One of the challenges while vacationing in Rome is finding the restaurants where the "locals" go that is still friendly and welcoming of those with limited Italian. While you can have a great meal with fellow vacationers, somehow the experience is lessened when all the...More

Feels like it has been there forever, charming staff, busy but worth waiting to get in. Order a range of antipasti, fantastic.

The atmosphere is completely Italian, just like in the movies. The service was warm and welcoming. The bread was soft, fresh and delicious. We ordered the fried zucchini, fried artichoke, artichoke fettuccini, gnocchi and the ricotta and spinach ravioli. The dishes were a big portion...More

Best pasta I've had in my life, amatriciana! And very friendly Italian grandmother that brought wine to the guests in the queue

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable

Trattoria da Teo recently moved (just 30 mt from the old location"Enzo")to the very near and typical "Piazza dei Ponziani" with a nice outdoor terrace. Traditional trattoria where you can eat a genuine and typical Roman cuisine. Stockfish filets; Giudia artichokes; carbonara; amatriciana; gricia; ossobuco; tripe; pajata; Vaccinara tail, fresh fish and very special Tiramisù, Mascarpone Mousse with soft fruits and strawberries, a good local and national wines list.
