We were lured down the alley by a waiter at the corner of the main street. Unlike many other restaurants in the are The place wasn’t busy on this Sunday evening so we got speedy service. The food was ok but nothing more. Ok for...More

This is our first time in Rome and some friends recommended this hip district to visit at dusk for the local merchants and piazza with entertainers. It was everything you think it will be and more ... then out of nowhere we came upon this...More

The food was mediocre as was the service. I speak fluent Italian, but as I was with my English speaking husband and son, the server insisted on speaking English and messed up our order. He sent my first course of pasta out at the same...More

Quite disappointing: The aperitif (Spritz) was warm and without ice. The Mail course arrived while we were still eating the starter. Food was ok-good, but the price was unacceptable: small Spritz: 12€, Side dish (spinach) 7€ Sorry, first and last try..! The "Patrone" was around,...More

This restaurant has a constant spruiker out the from to drag patrons in from the crowds that fill Trastevere's laneways and streets. The meals are generally ok, though nothing special. Good spagetti bolognese, average osso bucco. Deserts however were a major disappointment. Mass produced rather...More

Asked outside to dine, thought ok, wanted fish. Told them I had Egg and dairy allergy, was dealt with perfectly, food was amazing and informed they also had Gluten free and Celiac options Hard to find but amazing

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
