Earlier on the day we went on a guided tour to the Colosseum and our guide gave us an advice not to eat at the restaurant nearby Colosseum and the other attractions - and boy was she right. We had made an reservation inside - they told us nothing about that we were going to be the only ones sitting... More

Angelino ai Fori has the perfect location, in the mid-way between Colloseo and Piazza Venezia. The service was good, but the food was good in average, in comparison to other restaurants in Rome.

This is a great place just across from the Forum and up from the Coliseum. We ate here twice (one lunch and one dinner) during our five day trip and the seating outside was lovely. We had different dishes each time, a pesto pasta, lightly battered fish, lasagne and tomato pasta along with desserts to die for, for afters. We... More

Great place just across from the Forum. It was out door seating and very nice. We had a couple of very good wines and bread with oil to start (very good). We both had the Lasagna which was terrific. Location was terrific, service was terrific and the food was terrific.

The location is incredible right next to the Fora Romana with views to the Altare della Patria. The food is underwhelming but the price is reasonable and the location can compensate for the food. The service is mostly friendly but when I went, they forgot to bring my appetizer and when I mentioned it they didn't say sorry and actually... More

We found this on TripAdvisor in advance and thus we knew where to eat after visiting the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. It is a very nice place - we were treated very well by all the staff and decided to have some pasta and salads. Salad with pear and cheese was very delicious and it was a surprise for... More

We were on our way to see the Colosseum when saw the terrace and stopped for lunch. The waiters were uninterested and unprofessional. Indeed, it was busy when we went there, but that's not an excuse. The food was OK, nothing special.

Stopped here for a late afternoon snack of bread, cheese and some wonderful local Lazio red wine. The restaurant sits on the corner of a nice square and was just catching the last of the later afternoon sunshine,

This is a great place to visit after a busy day of sightseeing. We liked it so much, we came back on our last night to eat inside. Food was excellent and it was relatively cheap in comparison to other places in an expensive capital city. We were well looked after despite the fact they were incredibly busy and I... More
