If you looking for a place that's mainly serving locals, this might be a good option. However, I would order something other than the Margherita pizza. There was way too much oil on the pizza, and it made me sick for 24 hours.

We have been here twice in four days as a group of 5. First time for lunch, second time for Birthday dinner. Everyone had different dishes ( fish, steak, pizza, antipasto for starters, lamb, seafood pasta, carbonara, ice cream) All dishes tasted very good-we all had a bite of each others dish to try. Waiter was awesome-gave us free limoncello... More

We found this place by chance after the place we wanted to go to was closed. We had a lovely meal here at a very reasonable price (26€ for bruscetta, two pizzas, wine and water) and the food was very good. Staff were friendly and attentive too. I'm surprised it isn't better reviewed on TripAdvisor.

It seems this is a classic pizza place, well, we ordered pizza and pasta and the worst was the pizza. Tomato not cooked enough, burned pizza borders and bottom, I did not like it. Service slow. Not to come back, plenty of better places in Rome to eat a decent pizza

This was our first stop in Rome and it was so delicious, we came back a second time in three days. The first trip was a little better than the second - the service was excellent and my husband's pizza (o'vesuvio) was his favorite meal of our entire trip to Italy. When we came back the second time, the service... More

Nice sit-down restaurant found off of the main streets of Rome. Waiters were attentive and service was great. Food (I personally tried the Vesuvius: stuffed pizza with mozzarella, ricotta and salami) was phenomenal. Menu offered a range of starters, dishes, pizzas, etc. portions were extremely generous. Bill for 2 adults including drinks came to 30 Euros, which was very reasonable.... More

Had a starter, pizza and salad which was unfortunately very disappointing. Food lacked flavour, veg and salad didn't seem fresh and just a ton of rather tasteless cheese over everything. The prices were reasonable, but I'd have much rather pay more for a nicer meal.

I was staying 5 minutes from here on a business trip, i went the 4 nights if my stay due to the combination of location, value & quality of food. I was a solo female diner, i had nice chatty interactions with the waiters, not too intrusive. €2 for beer & €3 for wine with €6 pizza i think is... More

Super tasty pizza for only 6 euros and 2 euros for a small beer. I went on one night but my colleague had been on 3 consecutive nights and said it was consistently good but good value too. Staff friendly, restaurant clean with nice outside seating (inside has aircon if too hot). The pizzas were delicious, good dough, generous topping... More

Stopped in for a casual lunch. The place was packed but we had no wait for a table. The pizza is the show here. We had three different types and all were excellent. The service was swift and attentive. But for 6 people, we shared 3 pies, 3 beers, 4 bottles of water and a soda for under 37 Euros.... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
