We made reservations a day ahead of time for eight of us for an 8:30pm Saturday evening dinner. We were seated immediately upon arrival at a table surrounded by bottles of wine and liquor; the walls were loaded floor to ceiling. It seemed as if...More

We were a large group with no reservation who wandered in for a glass of wine and light meal. The staff were extremely accommodating (which was much appreciated) and the food and wine great. The building is also very atmospheric.

We found this place by accident and were thrilled by the sound of the menu and the vibe of the restaurant. Sadly our expectations were let down shortly after the first course arrived, artichoke dish and the ravioli.... Followed by the rabbit and pigs cheeks...More

Disappointing. A cuisine that tries to be sophisticated, but lacks in finesse and taste. The place is an hybrid: neither rustic nor elegant. It's expensive for what it offers

Stopped in after dinner for a glass of wine. Was nice. My glass was reasonably priced--many other options on menu were expensive. But was a very cool space!!

This little out-of-the-way restaurant was mentioned in Lonely Planet so decided to have lunch here after a tour of the Vatican Museums - and I am glad I made the effort to find it! In the guide, it said that there was a small menu,...More

We had visited this restaurant/wine bar a couple of weeks ago for lunch and had only ordered appetizers which were all excellent. This time we had dinner there on a busy Friday night and once again everything was superb. We ordered a few of the...More

Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is
the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in
a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is
a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and
wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every
shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and
gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but
that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
