We were recommended to have dinner here by our local tour guide who grew up in Rome for traditional Roman cuisine. It’s been open for over 100 years and it appeared to be quite popular with the locals. The artichoke, lamb chops and gnocchi w/ref...More

Great food, bustling restaurant, attentive staff altogether a fantastic experience. The main dish of lamb was succulent, artichoke sidedish was also highly recommended and did not disappoint in the slightest way and the dessert of panna cotta is to die for. Will be back for...More

I asked my hotel for recommendations and they said Perilli is a long standing favorite. They made a reservation for me which I highly recommend as this place gets busy quickly. I enjoyed traditional Italian food and good wine. I may have been the only...More

Great atmosphere. Delish food at reasonable prices. The contorni (both the broccoli and the zucchini disappeared in about 30 seconds which was remarkable given that one teenaged boy has always refused to eat it...he’s now a broccoli covert). Carbonara tasty but didn’t love the Cacio...More

Wonderful restaurant - family run - kind and helpful. Need to book as packed by 9.00pm. Restaurant recommended for excellent Roman cuisine. Wasn't sure what that was but it certainly didn't disappoint. Delicious food and very nice house wine - excellent value. A lovely evening.

My husband and I first came to Perilli on a recommendation from our hotel during our honeymoon in 09/2015. The restaurant was quaint, filled with locals (and a few tourists), but the most memorable thing was the carbonara! Absolutely amazing. My husband and I loved...More

After a recommendation to go here, I can say we were more than disappointed. First, we had to ring twice to book a table, both times resulted in the restaurant hanging up. I guess this was a sign. Second, once arrived for dinner, the waiters...More

If you want to try a real Roman experience, you must visit this typical Italian osteria. You can find VIP and Roman people, and the meal is simply delicious.

Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio,
an ancient Roman port and former working class

every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche
(nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants
give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the
daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club
