Came here between visiting Colosseum and The Forum since the attractions close early (last entry 15.30). Food was fresh and very good. We tried the pizza, two pasta dishes, bruschetta, prosciutto and mozzarella, and salad. Service a bit chaotic but it was very busy so...More

This Taverna was around the corner from our hotel. We walked in the afternoon and asked for a reservation for that evening. It seemed that they were booked but agreed to accommodate us that evening. We were very glad we went. This is a family...More

We pre-booked a table after researching great places to eat near our hotel and having read the reviews on Trip advisor. The starters were nice: bruschetta with ham and balsamic and pate on toast. The main courses were really disappointing, pork with mushrooms and cheese...More

Loved the filet, normally stuffed with prosciutto but they made it without for me. Cacio e Pepe with truffle was amazing. How have I never had it that way?? BEST panna cotta I’ve ever had in my life. Make a reservation for sure

This place had been recommended to us and we booked ahead for a Friday evening - so glad we did as upon arrival there was a long queue of people. Food was delicious, our spaghetti loving 10 year old pronounced it the best pasta ever!...More

Just round the corner from the "fori" and the "Colosseo", very welcoming place and staff very kind and helpful. Typical food from Rome very well prepared, cooked and served. Price "in range". Suggested.

Went here after visiting Colloseum and Palatine Hill. There are quite a few nice looking restaurants in this area but we were recommended this one by our hotel and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, very clean, great service, and above all great food. Spaghetti...More

Great blending of flavors that were put together in unexpected ways. We ate the artichoke and bruschetta appetizers and they were amazing. Amatriciana used thick hollow spaghetti noodles that were very nice.

My husband and I spent a week in Rome. Every meal was wonderful, but we didn't realize that "ordinary" Roman food, while grand, is nothing compared to the meals at this restaurant. I cannot begin to describe the tastes that filled our mouths as we...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at

Sorry for the delay in responding. I have only just seen your question. This restaurant is close to the colosseum. I would say from the Trevi fountain it would be a twenty minute walk.

Honestly I don't know. They are very family oriented, so maybe not open on Christmas...I would call them.
