Good food and good air both inside and out, often live music and than it is the other Francesco (not the Pope), but the ovner of the Sabatini!

We ate here with a group of ten. The food was delicious. Of note were the zucchini flowers and the prosciutto which was cut table side. The waiters were attentive and made great recommendations. Maybe too many recommendations, as we were shocked when our bill...More

If you walk up the street for 30 more metres you will find a far superior restaurant (Tonnarello - this place has great food, wine and service!!!) for literally half the price of what you pay here. We were starving and first day in Rome...More

I am very surprised to see many negative reviews about this restaurant. I guess we were just lucky to have had a pleasant experience. We came and lunch time instead of dinner, perhaps this made the difference? We were never pushed into anything, the service...More

Good location Food fairly good Tourist trap The guy came up to us and sort of talked us into doubling the portion of their most expensive appetizer (64€) and a 40€ bottle of wine. Somewhat my fault but we had just sat down and he...More

Please stay away. Food not bad, but much more expensive than we thought. small glasses of wine 10 & 14 euros plus a large service charge. So many waiters should have been a warning an very few customers.

We visited here on our last day in Rome- and while the food was good - not our best meal but not our worst.... it was completely negated by the bill.... more expensive than the most expensive meal we had had by far... The view...More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
