The restaurant has portrayed itself to be an upscale place for food (chef has worked in various michellin or award winning restaurants before), garden views of the city, and ambience. So we had expectations in terms of gastronomy and service delivery. The main dishes were...More

Amazing view and food. Very luxurious really perfect for couples who want the best evening view of Rome. A pianist performs at night, mostly English songs like the Beatles. Super Romantic and nice staff. Just be warned- it all comes at a price

We knew going in that this restaurant is very upscale, with a beautifully designed dining room. AND it had a stunning view of the eternal city. With all of that, Mirabelle, lived up to it's name as "beautiful view". The service was top drawer all...More

Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and
Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a
posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and
models while bored housewives hung out in streetside
cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the
cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to
five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law
firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to

Mirabelle is not an American bar but it is fabulous. On the roof of a hotel. Definitely need reservation and ask to sit out on balcony. Dress code is nice. My husband did not wear a jacket though.

  • This restaurant is at Hotel Splendide Royal
Mirabelle restaurant in Rome is a Michelin-starred, gloriously lavish, exceeds-all-expectations superstar. The mirrored seventh-floor dining room with its sumptuous pale gold dcor and elegant crystal and china frames a magical rooftop view of the Eternal City. Chef Stefano Marzetti uses superbly-sourced ingredients for haute cuisine dishes like artfully-presented seabass tartare with fennel salad and orange, oven-baked rack of lamb pre-sale with rosemary, and the famous Settimo Cielo Seventh Heaven dessert. The excellent wine list is mostly Italian with some heavy hitters from beyond. Manager Luca Costanzi, formerly of The Ritz, leads formal, friendly service, attracting jet setters, politicians and other beautiful people. Wear a jacket and be ready to have your senses ravished.
