Everyone wants to go once to Italy and so does once to Villa Borghese. It is an exceptional place and of course splendid, royal exceptional cuisine. We had a private invitational Dinner with a fixed menu. However the care and service experience was unbelievable. It was more than what to expect from a place like Valadier. Our F&B tender was Mr. Charanjeet Singh, a remarkable gentleman who took care of dietary requests to the chef and made me special menu n the spot at the same time Dinner was served. There’s always a Michelin way to rate Restaurants like this, but service is the most crucial part in feeding somebody and it seems they know their Job at Casina Valadier!

This old villa serving as a bar and restaurant is one of the classiest places in Rome, of which there are many. It is located on a hill overlooking the ancient city with especially a spectacular view of the Vatican and St Paul.
This place is good both for romantic couples and business parties and meetings.
It is situated in a little park, the Borghese gardens. You can have a nice walk around it and enjoy the spectacular view.
They have excellent veggie food too and we appreciated very much that they did not serve veggies like us the typical Penne Pasta or eternal Risotto. Instead, they made us elaborate, sophisticated dishes that were superb. Our non-veg friends were jealous.

We’ve been here for our anniversary 🥰 that was the very time for us to witnessed how beautifully good was the food that we ate. Anyway , I highly recommend this place specially if you want to have and quiet and peaceful either lunch or dinner. We also enjoyed the view from the top 🤗 it was breathtaking 🔥 seeing almost the whole Rome while having good food , I mean VERY GOOD food 👍 🔝 staff we’re also available all the time 😊 we would like also to thank our good friend Alessio Bruschi 👍 who was there taking good care of every single detail of the food that we ate 😊 Thank you for letting us experience eating the food that you prepared 😊 my husband and I knows perfectly how passionate you are in your work 🤗 keep it up ♥️ and maybe for the next time that we’ll come back maybe we’ll meet also the famous Chef Massi 🥰

On top of the hill we enjoyed our dinner on the outside terrace with a magnificent view on the city. We took the menu degustazione (5 courses): amuse bouche, crudo, fiore, tortiglioni, filetto, pre-dessert and cannolamisu. All excellent. Recommended for a very special dinner.

Sitting at the table, watching over Rome towards the Vatican and the St Peters Cathedral is a great way of having dinner in Rome. Great menu, great service and great wine list. Can you ask for more?

Nice experience! Cozy environment in a nice garden right next to the Pincio terrace, nice service and the manager was really taking care of the customers. The menu was pretty condensed but with interesting choices and options for everyone.

Exclusive location with available private dining over the capital from two slightly different but equally spectacular view points on the top floor of this Liberty mansion in the heart of villa Borghese (next to Pincio). Almost impeccable service, and a selected range of sophisticated courses with adequate wines from all Italian latitudes.

We sat outside in the garden cafe, the service was horrible, not interested waiters, and when i went to pay as waiters mostly were talking to each other, a waiter charged me 22 euros, for less than 100 grams of middle range wine and a small bottle of beer, good to mention that he charged more than was priced on a menu. Besides that he refused to use a cash register, and issue a receipt. Our mood was broken. My advice for other tourists - avoid this place!

Great setting, location and service. The views are stunning and really make this a special place for lunch or dinner. The food portions are modest in size (some might say small) but perfectly balanced and after 3 courses more than enough for us. Price wise was no more than you’d expect for a good meal in such a setting so whilst I wouldn’t eat there every night it’s not scary. If you come to Rome and wa treat you do worse.

Probably the best outdoor table view from any restaurant in Rome. High above the Spanish Steps and near the Villa Borghese this is a true one of a kind experience. We had lunch outside under the shade awnings and each dish was photo worthy. Service was friendly, efficient with a bit of formality to match the villa setting. Happy travels!
