Friendly staff in a well-situated location. Not too touristy. Food and wine were excellent. Didn't have room left for pudding. Could recommend more highly. Splendid!

We went to this little restaurant because we read they are making the best Carbonara in Rome - we had high expectations. It was perfect! The two older men serving us were the absolut cutest and even we weren’t able to communicate as much, they...were too kind and friendly. The Carbonara was the biggest and best portion I’ve ever seen and eaten in my life. It was just perfect. Would definitely recommend!More
The food was amazing, best carbonada I’ve had in Italy. Do note the portions are very big, could serve 2-3 people easily. The waiters are some old men (70+) but they are super friendly and helpful.
We went for a dinner of cousins, and we were treated amazingly, the food was even better. Strongly recommend if you’re in Rome. It doesn’t seem special from the outside, but after having dinner the whole idea of the restaurant changes, I can assure you...that.More
Delicious pasta with very generous portions. Good value and great service. In a nice shaded back street area.
Chaotic & confused service in the best way possible, with a reassuring language barrier - easily the tastiest pasta we had in Rome (even compared with two other quite “famous” places in the Trastevere area).
Baked potatos was not baked and cold, carbonara was probably from microwave and not good, we are very dissapionted. Octopus was just a tomato souse with…tomatos and 4 pieces of octopus.
We are sorry for yout bad experience! Our restaurant does not serve octobus and baked potatoes! We only serve Roman food.
Nice cosy restaurant where you can see them making the pasta. The carbonara can be recommended! It’s fully booked and waiters are very busy, so not too much service - but we will still visit it again
If you want to have the Roman experience this is a must. The food is unbelievable, the place is famous because the carbonara and NOW I understand why. The pasta was cooked al DENTE in perfection. The flavours was coming through and surprising you every...spoonful. Highly recommend for food. Highly recommend for the friendly staff, and environment. And don’t forget about the music artist. In love With the place.More
My favourite restaurant experience for my entire stay in Rome. Service was very friendly with good humour. Food was just as, or even better than what you imagine when you hear “home cooked Italian”
Its the best place to taste a typical 100% roman dishes and Italian dishes in general. High quality food Perfect cooking Friendly owners Excellent menu
Very nice food. Especially the pastas are delicious and portions are very big. Also the deserts are very nice. Can only be recommended. Not one of those tourist traps, that are all over Trastevere. Waiters are 2 older men, full of humor and good spirits.
Went there for a Friday dinner with friends. We had red wine and pasta (a lot of pasta). Average price around 20€.
Wonderful and amazing pasta! The portions are very big and you find very difficult to finish the plate! The owner Is very funny and kind. Price is right for what you get. ABSOLUTELY recommended!!!
If you want to be hosted by one of the Sopranos AKA junior then this is your spot. All jokes aside, the Italian gentlemen that worked their magic from table to table effortlessly was a joy to watch and the Carbonara....mama mia was delicious. We...came for a quick bite and ended up staying until Lemonchello.More
