Small little cafe close to main road in Rome. Waiter are OK but somewhat rude. Prices are little bit expensive for quality of food. Pizza crust is too thick and not very flavorful. Probably best to skip this place.

Stopped by for dinner as it was near our hotel. My wife had the pizza and I had the lasagna Bolognese. Both were very good. Had the local beer (Forst) and it was nice and cold. Staff was friendly. Overall hit the spot!

My wife & I sat street side & enjoyed a reasonably priced lunch at this establishment. Indoor seating & kitchen located directly across the street. Our host was Rita & she & the staff are fast & friendly. I ordered the lasagna di bolognese &...More

Staff is friendly but mess around when there is no one to attend to. The food is extremely bad and absolutely no fresh products are used. Will not come back again.

Pasta was bland, straight from the packet. Bread was stale. Drinks dreadful. On a positive note, the bottled water was refreshing. Very saddening experience, would avoid at all costs.

This charming restaurant is located just steps off the hustle and bustle of Via Nazionale in another world. This is a truly Roman experience. The service was attentive and the food sublime. I had brushetta to start and a traditional Roman main course of ox...More

Dropped in here for a quick and hoped for nice local Italian pizza and pasta meal. Please don't bother. Terrible service. Pizza terrible. Asked for spaghetti bolognese for our little boy. Told only do bolognese tagliatelle. Seriously it's pasta. Warm beer and wine. Not great.

I would certainly recommend your book as it’s a small and popular restaurant. The menu is very interesting and the food delicious.

Service was so slow it was frustrating. They were slow. We were the only table and got our pizza after another table that came well after us. They said pizza takes longer than pasta. Pizza was bad. Crust was actually too sweet.

You will be hard pressed to find anywhere in the area who sells hot food at this price. Well worth the visit and handy to get to Repubblica afterwards

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
