Having read some of the reviews I was a little unsure if I should take my family here. How wrong was I, this was a lovely little place people were friendly food was good service was spot on and reasonably priced. There English isn't great but they make a real effort so go you won't regret it.

Small, tasty dishes. While I wouldn't say it's the best Chinese I ever had, it was pretty authentic. My Chinese companion agreed with me referring to, particularly, duck in orange sauce. I doubt I'll ever be in the area again, but I wouldn't hesitate eating there again.

Q: Why would anyone want to eat at a Chinese restaurant in Rome? A: We were travelling with a Chinese lady friend (originally from HKG) - and she wanted to try out every single Chinese restaurant we came across!? After trying out 6 of them, we can categorically say none of them were any good! They also tend to use... More

In looking online for Chinese cuisine in Rome (I know, what was I thinking--but that is what the wife wanted), there isn't a whole lot that comes back. This restaurant was about 6 blocks from where we were staying, so we decided to give it a go. We started with spring rolls and Chinese dumplings (potstickers or gyoza, depending on... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
