We received excellent service, we are a foodie couple and my husband has a slightly restrictive diet as he is allergic to dairy. They’re more than accommodating, the food came out looking beautiful and tasting fantastic starting with the local artichoke and carpaccio finishing with a steak and an amazing truffle pasta. We cannot recommend this place enough.

We had a great experience at Vida. Very laid back atmosphere, outside dining on a beautiful fall evening (but covered for warmth and dryness in case of weather). Menu has some very good and interesting items, and they particularly focus on beef entrees in addition to the typical pasta dishes. Our sirloin steaks were served on a hot iron which was novel and allowed us to cook to our desired temperature. Paired very well with a mixed salad.

A hidden gem, nice location with a sweet terase. The first time we came was on friday right before closing time, perfect place for us to go after a hard day of sightseeing. The food is excellent, very good taste and the menu is interesting, but the service is what got us to come back the very next day. The waiters are very professional and friendly with very good food presentation skills, but above all was their hospitality in general, we felt very welcome and we were taken care of at every moment which is one of the most important parts of hospitality.
The manager is a very cool guy, approachable and forthcoming. All in all, we will definitely come back to this place when we visit Rome again :)

We were 20 minutes before openingtime there by accident, but we were warm welcomed with a delicious apero and a warm heater on the terrace. We enjoyed a nice burger with excellent wine and yummy dessert. Very good place for dinner, near the castle d'angelo

Portion sizes are correct, so you can actually order a four course meal and eat it. Unlike other, more touristy places we went to that served groaning portions at high prices, you pay less here for the plates so you actually get an Italian meal experience. For the food itself, we had the best steak tartare and carbonara we had all week. The cod stew was spectacular, tender and tasty, as was the rabbit.

Love this place. Ate their last week and going back tonight. Prices are very reasonable and beef on hot stones is fantastic with multiple options. Service is fast and friendly. Hidden gem in quiet district away from the crowds.

Lovely restaurant near the Vatican. We were a little tired of pasta, (although, this restaurant also serves pasta), so we headed to Il Belli for some beef. They have both Uruguayan and Danish beef on the menu. They were both delicious however, the Danish beef was a delightful surprise. Tender, full of flavor with a cherry sauce that was different and inspirational. Enormous wine list with interesting choices. We had a lovely Amarone. Servers were friendly, stopped to chat and give advice about getting around in Rome. A really memorable and wonderful experience. Would recommend!

We had dinner here with a large group of American friends and ordered a wide range of dishes. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone's food arrived at the same time. The staff who served us were totally charming and super efficient and a tremendous asset to the restaurant - as is the great chef!. The decor is fresh and modern inside and there is a sheltered pavement terrace with heaters. You can check the menu online before we come to decide if they.serve dishes and wine that you fancy. The food is beautifully presented and good quality. QNone of us regretted our choices and we came back as a couple 2 nights later and again had a great dinner and were again made to feel incredibly welcome. We wish we had a similar restaurant in our neighbourhood in London also such great chilled music! Thank you Vida for everything and look forward to seeing you when we return to Rome!!

I can't say enough about this amazing restaurant and the top notch service we received from Lorenzo and Ludovica! Everything was fantastic from the wine to our main courses! I had the Angus steak that was served on a hot stone, so flavorful and cooked to perfection. My husband had the octopus and couldn't stop raving about it. The salad with the red raspberries and mango was an unexpected surprise. I can't wait to try and duplicate it here in the states. Such an eclectic combination of ingredients! We enjoyed it so much the first night that we went back the following evening which is something we rarely do as we believe in being adventurous and trying new places. If we should ever go back to Rome, Vida - Living Restaurant & Wine Bar, will be a must on our to do list. Thank you Lorenzo and Ludovica for two amazing evenings. Our invitation to visit us in the US stands!

Wowwwww. Such an incredible evening. Recommended by friends and it did not disappoint . Atmosphere, food, presentation and service were all A+. We enjoyed meeting the chef to congratulate him on a job well done. I had the Carbonara with fresh Pecorino cheese. Centrally located and easy to find. I will definitely return.

Located in the center of Rome this restaurant is absolutely the best place to eat things that you never gonna forget...everything is perfect ... the atmosphere makes you feel relaxed. The service is amazing.
Absolutely amazing food, a great selection of wines, and very friendly staff who are knowledgeable about it.
Parking: Plenty of spaces on the street, but also has private parking just about the corner.

My wife and I went here as it was just a few minutes away from the hotel we were staying at and wanted to try a different variety of food as We were eating pizza and pasta every day for the previous nine days. I started with the Tartare Affumato and it was hands-down the best I’ve ever had anywhere before. I then finished with a steak served on a hot plate that was cooked perfectly and was paired with delicious sauces. The service was amazing and was one of the only restaurants in Italy that consistently asked how we were doing, how the food tasted and offered suggestions for menu items. One of the most memorable experiences during our honeymoon and Italy.

We had the carpaccio and tartare for starter which was ok but not as fresh and tasty like it used to be. For our mains we took the Fiorentina Scottona and even here we were disappointed since it was tough and not juicy at all. The service was slow but we didn’t really mind. To their credit, the server did apologise for taking so long. Every time we visited Rome, il Belli was always on our must restaurants to visit, unfortunately not anymore!

We stayed in Prati and really happy to discover this restaurant nearby that serves excellent modern Italian food with reasonable price. Service was also very friendly and personable. It was so good, we went twice in our short stay in Rome.
Everything we tried was excellently prepared. Both the grilled steak and the filet were tender and tasty; the beef rib was wonderful and the pasta dish my friend had was also delicious. If you are in the neighborhood, I highly recommend trying this place.

My friends and I dined here last night. The atmosphere, service and food were simply amazing . There were craft cocktails unique to the restaurant and a nice wine list. We were a group of 5 people and each person raved about their appetizer and entree selections. Dessert of homemade cookies with a cream for dipping was the perfect end to a perfect meal. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone and look forward to my next visit .
