Our first meal in Rome, and it couldn't have been better. While the decor doesn't appear traditional Italian, the food was. We each had pasta. I had the Gricia, my wife had the Amitriciana, and my son had the Carbonara. They were all amazing. The wine list was excellent, as was everything else about this place. They recommended a regional... More

This place is off the beaten path and looks unimpressive from the outside, but the food & service were great! There's not even an obvious sign, so we thought we had the wrong place and were about to look for another restaurant. We asked a passerby who told us the food is very good, & he was right! Our server,... More

We read about the good reviews and we wanted to give it a shot. Best homemade pasta I have ever tasted and best meatballs ever. Amazing homemade tiramisu. Everything handmade and cozy atmosphere. Super friendly staff! Highly recommended! <3

Sorry but I do not understand the current ranking of the restaurant (100th out of 10000 in Rome). Yes, we had a nice lunch, but I would not say this restaurant is in the 1% of the best restaurants of Rome. The food is really simple, the staff was not exceptionally friendly (we assumed this was a bad day for... More

We order carbonara, but it tastes not good. Tuna salad is good but when we check, the service attitude is bad.

The aptly named Casa does treat you as if you are home. The dining space, tables and lighting create a warm ambiance that makes you feel comfortable as does the friendly staff and owner, Domenico, who makes sure he comes to every table to chat while making sure all is well. The food is excellent. Everything is organic and local,... More

We found this restaurant from reviews of tripadvisor. It was a cozy place with nice staffs. The taste of foods were very good and description of staff for the menu was enough. The price was slightly expensive for the food, but if you are close it, I recommend to try it.

Good food "homemade style ". Nice choice for something different than the classic tourist "places ".. Prices are also good and the only improvement could be done for decoration ..

I don't understand the TA reviews on this one. Arriving, there was only one table full and when I left one hour later, there were only three tables (out of 18-20) full but was told I could only be accommodated if I would give up my table in 30 minutes. My starter with eggplant, tomato, and cheese was crap. Chewy,... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
