Running away from another place, we happened to “Adesso”, a place that has nothing to envy to starred restaurants, except the years of experience, important to achieve certain goals, but not essential for them .. that could really change the rules of the game.
The owner is very young, with a great passion for catering. The setting is welcoming and attention to detail, very organized, something perceptible already at the time of booking.
The dishes are researched, well studied and presented with care, both from the kitchen and from the owner himself, where at the table he explains the refinement and history of each dish. The wine list is excellent, with an enviable value for money. Thanks for the final courtesy and spoiler!
Don't expect classic cuisine - if that's what you're looking for, it's not the place for you. Don't waste their time... or yourselves.

This was our favourite restaurant in Rome mostly down to the lovely service which topped any of the other excellent foodie locations to be found when in Rome. Wine was extremely reasonably priced for the quality, the menu had a good variety of offerings and the meals themselves were very tasty. Very good experience in a cosy and tasteful setting.

An amazing place, the welcome is extremely friendly, the meal was absolutely delicious, the setting very cozy and cute and the perfect Value for Award.
We had the opportunity to taste a burrata on bed of cold melon soup. A delight! And the tiramisu was like a little light cloud!

Too bad... everything was so perfect.... nice environment, great prosecco, attentive staff. Great discovery, in the heart of Rome! To return and recommend! But.... you can not charge 2.50 euros per person covered for two glasses of Prosecco (and a snacK offered by the house). Raise the price of the glass, charge the snack (proposing it to customers), but how sad that item on the receipt is... makes so many catchers .. Too bad, really bad, we are from Rome and we will have returned with pleasure... too bad.....

Gentile Ospite,

Top 3 restaurant for us during our entire 2 week stay in Italy. The space is small so make sure to get a reservation, its 100% worth it. The staff were so attentive, kind, and helpful when trying to decide what wines to pair with each course. We started off with the Burrata appetizer, BEST burrata combo we had! then for the main courses we decided to go off menu and go with 2 of the chef specials, I don't remember the official names of the dishes but I can confidently say any chef special is probably out of this world here. Our only regret is not being in Rome long enough to go back a second night.

Small bistro in the center of Rome. The menu is as well looked after as its execution and the wine list, and the service is excellent. Francesco, who looked after us, was very helpful throughout the dinner, guiding us throughout our experience.
We liked everything very much: San Giovenale Habemus, pumpkin bruschetta, truffle bruschetta, cheese platter, beef tartar, meatballs with Castelmagno fondue, ricotta with cognac pears (with cognac pear liqueur pairing).
Good value for money, if we were to return to Rome, NOW will certainly be one of our stops.

Now it's a really nice place: we returned after a few months away, and we were greeted by the manager Francesco, the collaborator Jacopo and two others, probably Indians, whose names I do not know. However all extremely polite and professional, never intrusive. Let's start with a Sicilian sparkling wine, followed by a red from Etna, to stay on topic. To eat I took the vegetarian cutting board, a set of dishes among which stands out the fermented radicchio. Then baked new potatoes. Other friends had shrimp and roast suckling pig. Very very good all the desserts. Perfect background music, spotless bathroom with hot air towels. As always, it is impossible for me to conclude a dinner without mezcal, my favorite distillate. On previous visits it was not available, so Francesco procured a bottle especially for me, choosing the mezcal ilegal, one of the best. It should be noted that both Francesco and Jacopo have considerable expertise in the wine field. The winery and 'very small, need to book well in advance. The prices are average, not particularly cheap, but in my opinion it's the best way to spend the money. Unfortunately it closes at about 11pm so it is not possible to go after the theater, but we will definitely be back.

Great bistro located in the center of Rome. Not easy to find parking but this difficulty is compensated by the pleasure of dining in this small room. The friendly welcome from the staff is combined with the quality of the food and
with the type of dishes, never trivial with successful and centered combinations. The menu is contained and presents among the various courses, appetizing types of croutons, high quality tartare and an excellent roasted suckling pig. Excellent desserts that worthily conclude the dinner. Reservations are recommended given the small size of the room. The price / quality ratio I think is correct.

Me and my girlfriend recently had the pleasure of dining at Adesso for her birthday meal and it was hands down one of the best meals we've ever had. The food is simple but excellent and is honestly not that expensive especially for Rome! The staff were super friendly, and shoutout to Davide for cooking us a 10/10 meal made with fresh ingredients. The vibe is relaxed and cosy. Would recommend the lasagna with the new potatoes and then tiramisu.

It means a lot to us that you appreciated our approach to food—simple yet excellent, made with fresh ingredients and great care. Davide will be thrilled to know his cooking made such an impression! And of course, we couldn't agree more—lasagna, new potatoes, and tiramisù are a winning combination.
We hope to welcome you and your girlfriend back soon for another memorable evening. Until then, grazie mille!

This little place is truly enchanting. A stone's throw from Piazza Navona, in the Parione district, one of the most beautiful and evocative areas of the capital❤️ unique hospitality, refined, well-kept environment. Friendly people and very customer focused. Truly lovely people. Excellent choice of wines, I chose two glasses of an excellent Chianti and accompanied it with some very good croutons. Furthermore, if you go during this Christmas period you will find a delicious artisan panettone and homemade panpetato. Try it and you will be amazed. I absolutely recommend it. It is not a tourist place.

What a place! Our server was absolutely wonderful. The wine by the glass was a bit more expensive than expected initially, but the quality ended up being well worth it. Also the server brought us a few courtesy light snacks to go with our wine, which made the experience even more memorable. The ambiance is great with jazz covers of popular songs playing, walls lined with wine bottles, & cozy high-top tables. Absolutely will go again when we’re in Rome next. This neighbourhood was very charming too! Highly recommend.

So small, compact, welcoming and with a sophisticated design.
It is not the usual rustic wine bar typical of the historic center, but rather a well-kept and clean place (not obvious).
Few tables, soft and comfortable stools, pleasant lights and relaxing ambient music (jazz I think).
Few dishes, simple, but really tasty and balanced.
We ate octopus and parmigiana (waw) with a local sparkling wine (perhaps Kius) and a cocktail recommended by the excellent sommelier.
In the room, the young owners, kind and discreet, also told us about their experience, a lot of commitment and love for what they do.
Thank you.
We'll be back.

This little gem was a total surprise to us. We had booked it 3 weeks before we even left for our trip, based on great reviews. They were not wrong! We were met warmly welcomed (which was also reflected in email communication) by a young, energetic staff. it is a small space, well arranged to seat a total of about 20 people. Al tables are high tops, well spaced and comfortable. We had lovely chat with the couple next to us.
You got to restaurant for the food - which was absolutely delicious!! We shared a crostini appetizer, warm and covered with a delicious melted cheese containing 5 peppers and vey thin sliced of pear. My husband had traditional lasagna and I had lasagna with artichokes and a special cheese. Both of us were thrilled - I could not finish mine. We accompanied our dinners with a deep, rich chianti. We regretted that we had no room for desert. Our lovely wait person brought us a small sample of their "chocolate salami", a masterfully crafted dessert with chocolate and pistachio, as a "present".
This is definitely a restaurant to put on your list when in Rome.

another dinner at Ora, 5 of us went, the whole family, and we were welcomed by the owner Francesco, his partner Ines, and the collaborators Gonzalo and Kevin. The latter is also a sommelier. Always magical atmosphere, perfect background music, extreme courtesy and professionalism from everyone. Very clean bathroom with liquid soap and hand dryers, this is not of secondary abundance. We start with a bottle of Sicilian sparkling wine, white from black grapes, excellent, then a red from Lazio from the Giovenale winery, Viterbo. I, who am looking for a vegan diet, ate escarole, new potatoes and aubergines, all excellent and above all generous portions as I like, I go to the restaurant to eat not to snack. The others had cuttlefish, various croutons, all good. At the beginning, a small plate with toasted bread and oil and green olives, excellent, is given free of charge. At the end, after the desserts (also of superior quality, nothing is left to chance), you are honored with a passito wine and donuts. These gestures of courtesy and generosity on the part of the management are very pleasant....not all restaurateurs, some attached to pennies, are capable of doing them.
The prices are average, not crazy and in any case it is money well spent. The place is microscopic, very full of customers, many foreigners from all over the world, so you have to book in advance.
The spirits list is missing mezcal, which is my favorite spirit.
There was some wine left, we asked to take it away, we were given a nice and convenient sachet.
In short, a place where we will definitely return
John
