Wherever you go we always seek out pubs and found this little gem of a pub purely by chance. We had been in another pub the night before I wasn't too keen on it, but , walking to it I saw the sign for The Fiddlers Elbow. My husband said he wanted to go back to the other one but... More

We spent two nights in here, had a good time both nights with good staff (thanks Colm) and met a lovely couple from Scarborough. Nice atmosphere and typical Irish themed bar. Cheapest bar by far in what must be the dearest city in Europe. Recommended strongly. Oh yeah, forget the Peroni and Moretaine, follow the locals and drink Meanbrea, great... More

Great wee pub for watching the rugby. Food isn't the best though, possibly as it was so busy that evening. Great bar staff.

Went there prior to Italy v Ireland Rugby match last weekend for a good old Irish all day breakfast.Food good and my son said the Guiness was not bad! If your looking to escape the wife and kids for a couple of hours to watch a bit of sport this is an ideal location 10 minute walk from Rail Termini... More

Nothing Italian about this place, and that's why it is great. Nothing wrong with Italian bars/restaurants, but frankly the Irish REALLY know how to create a pub atmosphere. It's a bit out of the way, but just down the street from a Basilica (Marie something). They don't open until 5 p.m., but then again, they are not really about the... More

Would be ok at weekend with some music. Other than that small bar with reasonable price drinks. It's typical bar in back Street dark not inviting a drinking bar with sports TV

Just popped in for a late night drink and just loved the vibe. I felt like I was transported to Ireland. We didn't eat but we enjoyed hanging out. They had live music and a big group of Irish (or Scottish) guys made their way here so it appears the reputation is worth its weight in salt. Drink up.
