I lived in Italy for about 10 years of my life and know what quality Italian cuisine should look and taste like. Given the excellent reviews, we were disappointed with our experience. More than half the clients were foreigners, which already set off alarm bells,...More

Good Roman food with friendly staff. I had the lunch special which was a very nice cold pasta with tuna, tomatoes and pesto followed by prosciutto ham and vegetables. Fresh fruit to finish with coffee. One of my fellow diners was happy but the other...More

Decided to have lunch here after looking on their menu board on the street. The menu had panini and I only wanted a light cheap lunch. We were only 2 and the only table vacant was set for 4, they made us wait 6 mins...More

Me and my husband visited this place, I found it purely by scoping out trip advisor and recommended places to eat. Unfortunelty the place was very quiet and the service unfriendly. The food was nice but very tiny portion size. I asked for bread, garlic...More

Enjoyed a long lunch with friends after visiting Vatican. Enjoyable friendly service , ordered a number of dishes to share some better than others but overall quite good. Nice find in area that is surrounded by tourist traps.

We simply love this place. Their food is perfect and they staff is always attentive. I had my favorite tuna tartar and potatoes and hubby got sword fish steak. Our friends got the sea food pasta and lasagna. This time we didn't have both starter...More

We wanted an authentic Italian meal for our last night. We were advised ahead of time that there is a reservation at 9pm so we needed to finish our meal in 1.5 hours. No problem but I felt a bit uncomfortable with the hostess/owner pacing...More

There was a great atmosphere here and the service was friendly and fast. I had the carbonara and really enjoyed it.

Looking for a decent restaurant in this area is difficult, however this small restaurant is a good restaurant to stop if you are in the area. They offer a good variety of Italian food, and bistro food. Wines are good and the prices are reasonable....More

What a great find. The food was really nice and tasty. I had the cabbage rolls, fettuccine with pesto and prawns and a side of spinach. It was lovely. However it is service that really makes this restaurant great. The waiter appeared to genuinely care...More

Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is
the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in
a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is
a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and
wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every
shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and
gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but
that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,

We will be in the area this Saturday (November) for lunch. Do you think a reservation is necessary for a table for 4?

It was very quiet when we were there, totally did NOT live up to the TripAdvisor reviews, I wondered if the reviews were genuine after we went there as it's really nothing special.

We ate at two tables outside (we were 4 people) yes the sidewalk is narrow but it doesn't matter. Of course it may be chilly depending on the weather. Service was great outside and inside (we are there twice).
