I have been here twice now with different groups of friends, and I have not been disappointed. The appetizers are great--just ask them to make you a mix of them. I especially liked the artichoke and the pumpkin souffles. The meat dishes are delicious--oxtail, veal...More

We have eaten at this restaurant two times because the food is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy and nice. However, on both occasions, the only negative was the owner’s arrogant or ambivalent attitude. The first time he waved us rudely to a table, and...More

Aftter a visit to nearby bar Il Seme e la Foglia, I decided to have dinner at degli Amici the next evening. The place was busy, service was average, and food was excellent. It is a good option in Testaccio.

This little restaurant is tucked away in Testaccio, one of the best food districts of Rome. I went with friends who had been before and have to say the pasta was amazing. Was so delicious. Staff were also friendly and the atmosphere homely. Highly recommend.

Osteria degli Amici was recommended to us by two Roman friends. It is a classic Roman osteria in the Testaccio neighbourhood. Luckily, we made reservations each time we went there because the restaurant was full of locals. And on both visits, there was a family...More

We were lucky to walk in and get a table without a reservation. A bit pricy but you get what you pay for; the ravioli with wine sauce was quite tasty, and the filet mignon was out of this world.

Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio,
an ancient Roman port and former working class

give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the
daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club

We had no trouble booking from Canada on line. I suspect the restaurant may be closed in August or from mid-August to September sometime? Italians typically celebrate "ferragosto" and many shops and restaurants close down... More
