Very good roman restaurant, very authentic, with good quality Price ratio. Tasty local food and friendly personnel. Local and cosy atmosphere. You'll love it :)

This is an excellent restaurant, frequented by locals which is always a good sign. The restaurant has been family-owned for over 100 years and they take great pride in the quality of service and food they offer. The menu is in Italian but the staff were fantastic in explaining the menu in English to us and making recommendations. It was... More

We stopped here for lunch today after reading some reviews about how good (and cheap) the food was. This place didn't disappoint! While the menu is only in Italian and the place was full of locals (always a good sign), the staff were all very helpful about explaining the options we didn't know. We (a family of 4) shared the... We went here due to the reviews on here and it was just behind our Hotel the Marcella Royal. It was quiet when we arrived, but quickly filled up with locals. The menu was typically Roman. The food was ok, just ok. I had porchetta and I have to say it was pretty poor, very thin, hard chewy and gristly.... More

Mouthwatering family cooking at modest price. Service is efficient and surroundings pleasant but unpretentious. A great choice for a proper lunch but without spending too much time or money.

This restaurant is directly undeneath the AirBnb apartment that we stayed in. We decided to have dinner here one evening, the family that owns this place (5th generation),we very welcoming and helpful. The food was great and portion sizes large enough to share a few meals. Looking for steak, chicken or pasta- try this place!

Stumbled across this restaurant by accident and thought we would pop in for a cheap, quick meal as we were tired and hungry. The menu is only in Italian but the waitress was very helpful and talked us through the various dishes. The food came quickly and was amazing! Between 3 of us for two courses each with wine and... A delicious meal for a family of four, including some wine and a couple deserts that we shared, came in at less than 100 euros. The welcome was warm with an on-the-spot translation of the menu to assist us in deciding on our meal choices. I have never had such amazing pasta as the Pasta Carbonara I enjoyed at this... More

After visiting Borghese gallery we came here for late lunch. All locals and menu is simple and straight forward. We had - Bean soup- nice and hearty Mushroom risotto- excellent Pork tenderloin - good Veal cutlet - good No English menu, and very reasonable price. A local favorite that's been around for over 100 years ran by family.

We were staying at a hotel across the street and our host recommended the place. The food and wine were very good and the service was excellent. We ate pasta at first and after that chicken with some green stuff (ciceria, I don't know what it's called in English). The ciceria wasn't my cup of tea but it definitely was... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
