Atmosphere: This place was unusual from the get go. The waiters pointed nearly without looking at us and told us where to sit - don't be expecting any major courtesies! We assumed one man to be the owner. He screamed and bellowed at the other...More

Popped into this family run restaurant and it was great. Family run and on the back streets it's a proper Italian. The Best meal we had in Rome by far. The owner was so friendly and hospitable. Great place.

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
