After more than 20 years from its first day, this simple yet quite expensive restaurant still remains true to its original values: uncompromising quality of the fresh fish they serve, attentive service, full stop. Utterly popular with locals. Book in advance. Be prepared to eat your best fish meal in Rome. Also, you will have to pay for it. I... More

if you love raw fish try the starters and the fish in general is very fresh and well cooked, avoid busy saturday nights. The service is less good when they are very busy...

Arrived late in the evening and we were looking for anything close by that was still open. Happened to stumble across this little gem and it was lucky we did! They only served seafood dishes at the time we arrived but it didn't matter. The seafood was so fresh and incredible! The scampi and grilled artichokes were delicious! Definitely give... More

We went to Eco Blu with a friend who lives in Rome and this was one our our favorite dinning experiences! The service, dinner and wine were excellent! We can not say enough about our fine dinner. A special thanks to Massimo who may be the best dessert chef in the world. His desserts may have been made in heaven.... More

Went on a recommendation from our hotel and didnt regret it! We had a great salmon carpaccio, spaghetti al vongole, and some languastines. Excellent dinner and very reasonable.

Great fish dishes, in particular the antipasti and the primi. The main dishes a bit too traditional. Excellent service and decent wine list with both Sardinian and national whites. The place would benefit from some more daring, a few new dishes among the antipasti and the primi are excellent and the chef should be encouraged to experiment more. But given... More

I have been back after many many years and was amazed to see more or less the same staff running frantically as if still teen agers. The decoration has somewhat improved and the food, already good at my time, even more. Prices too, inevitably. Restaurant was full on an August Monday night, lowest possibly season and despite hefty prices and... More

Although quite a distance (taxi journey) from our hotel by the Spanish Steps, when we first arrived at the restaurant we thought it must be the wrong address – it looked run down, off the main road, and we wondered if we’d made a big mistake. Going inside however, the smell of saffron, herbs and fresh fish was wonderful. Our... More
