I stay in the San Paolo area when I am in Roma, and Burro e Sugo is usually my first stop after arriving! I always have the Pappardelle al Cinghiale-Wild Boar Pappardelle as it is something I won't find in Canada, but all of the food is delicious. They offer various menu packages at reasonable prices, or you can just... More

Amazing food, fantastic and friendly staff! Will definitely be coming back again next visit to Rome! Coffee is great and the dessert is 'to die for!', her words! Also got to enjoy a nice small sing along! Molto bene!

I've been here with a friend and it's definitely the best food I had in Rome while there. It's a cosy, chill place, with simple dishes yet full of flavors. I recommend highly ! Would totally go back. The waiters were also extremely aknowledgeable and kind, even gave me a scarf when it got a bit cold outside. If you... More

We went to this cute place with a smartbox coupon for 2 people - bruschetta, pasta (variety of choices - both excellent tasting dishes - one cacio pape and the other radicchio speck) and a dessert (also very tasty!) wine was extra, but the prices of bottles are reasonable. The service was good, nice waitstaff and overall cozy place. Would... More

We had a smartbox which had the choice of 3 different types of menus...in the end we opted for the bruschetta, pasta and dessert. They were all very good! The cacio pepe pasta and orechiette with speck, radiccio and provalone cheese were excellent choices!! Also, the desserts were delicious (coconut cannoloni and poundcake with pear, rum and chocolate!) Service was... More

Had dinner in this lovely restaurant using an emozione 3 voucher. We got bruschetta, pasta and dessert all included in the meal. Pastas were large and with plenty of dressing. My risotto was supposed to have truffles in it, but could not taste it. Dessert was rich and tasty but neither of us was able to finish it as we... More

Burro & Sugo is of the beaten path and away from the tourist area in Rome. The easiest way to arrive is by taxi. The food is plentiful and amazing, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great. This is one of our "must go" anytime we are in Rome. When you stop by say hello to Christian, the... More
