We ate here last week and it was the nicest meal that we had all week. The food was really good and the staff were very friendly. I much prefered it over the more popular "Hostaria Dino e Tony" which is nearby, it was also better value. They were also very good about doing kid sized portions on request and... More

We stopped by this little cozy restaurant before our Vatican visit in hopes of finding something authentic and non-touristy. What we found was an absolutely delightful lunch buffet Italian style! Super affordable and delicious. The owners/chef were charming. I think the picture speaks for itself! This is how buffets should be done!

We were looking for a great, cheap lunch after our Vatican tour. After searching the main streets, we found this down a less busy street. They had a 8 euro buffet. You get one trip but it includes a drink and it was GREAT food! Very authentic and lots of vegetable options too. Highly recommend!

After visiting The Vatican and walking around we were starving. Pizza was excellent and the love the eggplant. Prices very reasonless. I will recommended to anybody.

The restaurant is traditional, uses very high quality, fresh ingredients, and is a great option to run away from the always-expensive-never-that-good touristic restaurants near the Vatican museums. Affordable and well served, the buffet offers options for all tastes and is frequented mainly by locals, usually people who work in the offices nearby.

I went there with an Italian business contact who knows the owner very well and recommended it for strong local flavour - certainly not a tourist trap! Nice setting, fresh, home-made pasta, alcohol-free tiramisu, and very reasonable prices. I will definitely go back there next time I'm in Rome!

Located very close to the Vatican - on a little side street off Via Candia - this is an amazing lunch time find. They have a wonderful buffet lunch for only 8 euros. (This includes a half bottle of mineral water, 1 glass of housewine & a post-dinner coffee). The food is completely seasonal, and absolutely delicious. (when I was... More

Lovely little out of the way restaurant, worth the venture. I had the lamb chops which were succulent and melted like butter. My husband had the house Octopus, which was tender and flavorful. Highly recommend the caprese salad. The Tiramasu was beyond heavenly. Oh and the house white wine was excellent.

Went on 2 consecutive evenings of a four night stay in Rome to this small restaurant in a side street near our apartment. Very good food, their plate of marinated fish was particularly excellent. House wine best avoided but the half bottles of red and white are both good. Run by 2 sisters aided (?) by their Father. I had... More
