Nipped in for some dinner after a long day and it certainly felt local. The manager was hilarious and it was all very casual but my salmon pasta was excellent and a good portion and the bill was very reasonable as well.

The place looks pretty authentic and the food served is simple rustic dishes. The aubergines in the parmigiana were slightly undercooked and the Gorgonzola came as three tiny pieces. Except for that the food was ok.

Small and friendly restaurant with the apparent family owners fully on display. The family were very exuberant . Food varied and good served in good time. I had a mixed grill and there was amply for me.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only

famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
