I visited Roma at the beginning of April 2017. This place was eventually selected for a dinner with a friend. We sat outside since the evening was a nice warm one. The order was taken immediately. Dishes brought in a reasonable time. The waiter spoke three or four languages (Italian, English, Russian - for sure, French - I am not... More

Carbonaras. Eggy, but yummy. Bolognese (perhaps from Bologna itself). Rich, but tasty. Gnocchi, tomato and potato paste. Didn't eat it myself but it looked nice. After waiting to be seated for no more than 30 whole seconds, we were ushered outside table which another was scampering to prepare as we sat down. We were sat in a lovely spot of... More

Me and my husband visited Rome for a few days and came to this restaurant for an evening meal. We stood for a long time waiting to be seated despite the waiter clearly seeing us and just walking by. When we were eventually seated, the table was not set. Our order was taken fairly quickly but when the food came... More

This ristorante next to the Spanish Steps in Rome, has a great location situated in a quiet square. The menu is typically Italian, pasta, pizza, panini, the quality of the food was very good, the staff friendly but not intrusive, and the service quick upon ordering. Do not forgo the Tiramisu, it is excellent!

In the midst of a hustling, bustling tourist area close to the Spanish Steps in Rome is this lovely Caffe. We sat outside in the sun in a quiet little street, beneath the steps leading to the Villa Medici in the Tridente area. The waiters are extremely friendly and helpful. The menu offered value for money and the food was... More

Food was OK, but the service was as it suppose to be. Our waiter was very kind, charming and loved to talk to all customers and had always interresting story to tell. Besides there is a nice view, pretty quiet although it's very close to Piazza di Spagna, prices are reasonable and we were lucky to see a great performance... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
