Went based on reviews and the fact that it was literally around the corner from my hotel. Made a booking for 1 for 7pm. Greeted and seated. I am an older female and was travelling alone. Something I really like about being abroad is that...More

On our last night in Rome, weary from the 2 weeks of walking (and walking) we were looking for a place close to our hotel for dinner. We had settled on a place, but it didn't open until 7:30, just wandering, we found Andrea's. We...More

This is one of at least 4 eating places close by not the smartest or most most modern looking but cosy and waiter had some character, seems family run. Food came out very well (pasta with pepper cream sauce, lamb with rosemary potatoes on enormous...More

A lovely family restaurant with friendly staff. We were the first customers in at 18.30 as we were starving from a day travelling (4am start). BY 19.30 it was full with a mixture of locals and visitors. So worth booking if you want to visit...More

If you had asked me would I like a lasagne made with pesto and almonds, I would have said no but on trying this dish, I couldn't be more pleasantly surprised. It was delicious. My son's steak was also cooked to perfection. Hoped to return...More

We arrived early in the evening by Rome standards ( approx 6pm). Thus was simply because we’d been up since 4am to catch our flight and just wanted something to eat close to our hotel, then off to bed. The restaurant had clearly just opened...More

Based on the trip advisor reviews and being just round the corner from our hotel thought we would try it out. We were quite early and only a couple of other people already sat down. We had a warm welcome and the interior is like...More

This experience in Rome was incredible. We dined at Andrea twice and it was delicious. Pizza and pasta the best dishes ever. And now we return to Portugal and we miss the real Italian food. The host was the best possible, very friendly and helpfull....More

Really nice food. Lasagna and the garlic bread was lovely. However stale butterless bread was put on our table, which we didn't eat but was still charged for. The one man serving seemed rushed off his feet trying to get around all of the tables

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only

Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas

famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
