Great Family restaurant. If you do not care too much about the money leave Luigina, the owner to recommend. Excellent prosciutto and mozzarella and than pasta. At the end we enjoyed fish and sea food. Finishes with tiramisu made in the house! Compliments to Luigina and family.

Tucked behind Albergo Cesari and just off a little alley is Sabatino. There is outdoor seating as well as tables inside. It's quieter and no smoking inside, so that's where I sat. I adopted Sabatino as my go-to while staying in Rome and had several meals here. The wait staff is friendly, and they really hustle. The ambiance is charming.... More

We tried restaurants in Rome and this one was recommended as the best pizza in rome by one of the most experienced guide I ever met. You are very superstitious when guide recommend something but this one we trust so we went. At it was no mistake! Must try

Had dinner here on our last night in Rome. Perfect weather and perfect setting. This was just good basic food and plenty of it. They bring frest baked bread, rice balls and small appetizer plate at no chage. My wife and I both had pasta- very good and large portions. Not fancy, but reasonably priced and very good.

I was 9 years old the first time I was here with my father and I have visited irregularly over the years. I visited today and was deeply dissapointed. I wanted risotto and was served rice soaked in oil! It was horrible. The waiter started to argue with me, trying to tell me I did not know what risotto was........ More

If the sun shines and you are there at the right time of day - at present I would say around 14.30 onwards then the outside dining area should be bathed in sunshine. Obviously this timing will alter with the progression into summer. This restaurant is set in a particularly perfect piazza, architecturally speaking with curved facades in soft terracotta... More

We ate here twice as it was near our hotel and had fabulous food. Excellent antipasti, tortellini in brodo, saltimbocca alla romana, and pasta in cream sauce. The pizza is thin crispy Roman style, but could be better. It is one block from the Via di Pietra, which connects the Trevi Fountain to the Pantheon and is lined with lousy... More

The waiting staff believes it has reached a level of maturity that allows a free interpretation of any wish from the diners. Boar sausage was substituted with other salumi; swordfish with another grilled fish; cheese souffle (a chef specialty according to the menu) rejected out-of-hand. Melon with prosciutto was good, spaghetti with vongole avarage. With a bottle of chianti Riserva... More

We came on a Sunday for lunch. The vegetable soup was very good, but the other first courses - Carbonara and spaghetti alle Vongole - were not very good, oily and overcooked.
