The restaurant is located in the Trastavere area, a very beautiful setting, situated in one of the main aisles. The restaurant is focused on tourists, there are a number of chairs on the terrace but they are too close to each other to hear every word in the restaurant. Food prices are excellent, I recommend to order a tourist menu.... More

We were treated with disrespect upon entry. At first we thought it was a misunderstanding but after first being told all tables were reserved we were then told by a waiter there were plenty of tables. Then, we waited & waited to be served. Again, I thought it was just me but then my wife & son both asked why... More

This restaurant looks attractive from the outside and is recommended by a number of guides. It has little to recommend it. The main meals are ok but not outstanding. The service is terrible. Arrogant wait staff who show no interest in patrons. Wine list is ok but deserts offer nothing.

We went here for an evening meal during our 3 night stay in Rome. Lovely restaurant, we sat outside as it was a warm evening but there were also plenty of heaters outside to keep to warm. Food was just delicious, we had 3 courses, tiramisu for pudding ( the best i have ever had ) the waiters were all... More

We were spending 10 days in Rome and reserved one night for an special dinner in Trastevere neighbourhood, that said, we chose this restaurant as it was recommended in our travel guide. So maybe we were built in big expectations due to the symbol '€€€' on it. First the waiters were not friendly at all, not even a word, when... More

Nice artichokes, great pasta, great wines. A friend had mentioned this place and she deserves a thank you gift!

Very nice place with beautiful terrace and full of local people. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, but the service was very long that day.

i'm surprised that a restaurant in Trastevere cannot cook a dish such pasta all'amatriciana and fiori di zucca fritti!! The carciofo alla giudia were not eatable they smell bad oil. We were very disappointed. This is the restaurant where we went after our marriage at Santa Maria jn Trastevere church 9 years and we wanted to go back again with... More

Had a nice meal but it was just that nice, nothing to shout home about. Having dined in a few Italian resteraunts I think they are just trying a bit to hard. All in all a nice place to eat but not one that will stick in your head as a great night in Rome

Superb food, absolute recommend the Jewish artichoke and their super tasty cacio e pepe pasta! Tried the pasta at different places but this was definitely the best we tried and will for sure come here next time we go to Rome! :)

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
