Nice pizzeria with perfect pizzadough.. risen for 72hours. Friendly staff. Pizza napoletana. Crowded and small, but authentic and cosy.

Piccolo Buco was recommended to us by our Italian hosts, after three evenings of failing to get a table we finally managed on the fourth evening!. Small and fairly basic restaurant but the pizza was fantastic, they pride themselves on their dough which was indeed delicious.

It's been almost 5 years and I STILL think about this place. The gnocchis were outstanding and the pizza so delicious. I just recommended it to a friend who's heading to Rome and thought I'd better tell Trip Advisor also! Hands down, one of my most favorite restaurants in the world. Definitely go.

This was the first restaurant we ate at in Rome. Everything we had was wonderful, steak, sausage, cacio e pepe, carbonara. House wines were good and cheap, and it was right across from our hotel.

Sadly didn't think we would need to book, given its low season.....how wrong! We went some place else for dinner, but we popped back and asked if we could just order dessert......the guys were so accommodating and welcomed us in. We had tiramisu and panna cotta both of which were worth it. So if you want to experience a slice of... More

My husband, young son and I visited after a long morning walk around Centro Storico. Liked that they weren't trying to beckon us in! Had three amazing pizzas and drinks. Great Caprese salad too. Very friendly guys, nice atmosphere. Very clean. Lazio fans ... so don't take your AS Roma bag in ( as my son did much to their... More

My husband and I had just come back from a long day tour and wanted a quick and casual dinner. It was late at night around 1030pm. We saw Piccolo Buco had high ratings on tripadvisor so we decided to try it. The Bruschetta and pizza we ordered were WONDERFUL. Both tasted so good. The only reason I am giving... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
