We were invited out by a Professor at Cattolica University who had taken us out to several restaurants in Rome and they are all good. This restaurant specializes in fish. They have a 25 euro appetizer which consists of lots and lots of courses. They did not stop coming and I lost count. I do not eat seafood and could... More

Off the beaten track, this was recommended to us by the receptionist at our hotel. One hiccough was the time it took for two of the main dishes to be served to our party of five. However, champagne served to us on arrival, wet bread ( a Sardinian favourute that we were familiar with) with tomatoes, as an appetiser, mirtu... More

My husband and I where away from the "tourist" area of Rome at dinnertime. We came across this gem of a restaurant. They specialize in fresh seafood. Prices are reasonable and food quality is excellent. We started with the mixed raw and cooked seafood appetizer. Despite what the menu implies, you can order just one to split. I had about.... More

We got the idea from our hotel when we asked for a great place for seafood. We went there and obviously surprised the staff as we had no reservation. We still got the table and at first felt a bit underdressed when the champagne was opened and a very polite waiter introduced us the menu. We chose the seafood selection for... More

We were 23 people. We had a fixed menu suggest by the owner. Everything was good but the rice was fantastic!!! I was not sure about to have it in the menu but at the end it was the most appreciated dish of the dinner. Everything was just perfect and even if we are not famous people (a lot of... More

If the restaurant doesn't consider Internet a trustful place to make a reservation, why are they still here? We made a reservation trough an app, several days in advance, received the mail confirmation, everything as scheduled. We took a taxi and arrived exactly at the time booked on the reservation, but we were greeted with a "we do not accept... More

We had a most enjoyable fish based lunch. Starting with a mixture of various marinaded salmon, tuna, shrimp etc. followed by risotto with fiore di zucchini and shrimp. Second was a plaice in a potato crust, green vegetables. Coffee and almond biscuits to finish. Only complaint, the biscuits were far to sweet, everything else, including the service was excellent. Parking... More

One of my favorite places in Rome. Formal in appearance but very friendly and refined service. Seafood is fresh. Let them give you the appetizers selections, both raw and cooked, and you will be delighted by about a dozen small dishes placed in front of you. Sometimes I did not even made it to the pasta after the appetizers. This... More
