Located in the hearth of Trastevere district , this Roman ‘hostaria’ combines a charming and genuine local atmosphere with great traditional cuisine and good prices! The staff ( family run business )is very welcoming and always attentive!

Very good food with very reasonable prices. Excellent house wine. Nothing pretentious, just friendly and welcoming. The pasta carbonara was excellent and the fried seafood dish was done correctly-not at all greasy or salty..great for families.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this jewel of a restaurant in the Trastevere. The food is terrific, as are the prices, but the best part is the family that owns this. Francesca waited on us and she is delightful. We also...More

Stumbled onto this little restaurant on our way into Trastevere and were the only ones there for an hour before others showed up for a late lunch. Pizza is only available for dinner, so we got some primi (cacio e pepe, amatriciana) and secondi (bistecca,...More

Firstly, don't be put off by the slightly dated appearance. Over the year's we have eaten here a lot and it really is all about the quality of the food. This is a fairly small family owned and run hostaria and the food is first...More

We were there last week for lunch. It's an authentic Italian family restaurant. The food was EXCELLENT and the staff (the family that runs the restaurant) were very nice and hospitable.

Cheap and familiar place to host a dinner with your group of friends. Amazing starters and huge in size. From trippa to mozzarella and ham, everything very good. Amatriciana needs some improvements. The quality was better some years ago - or so some people told...More

Everybody seemed very hurried and acted somewhat impatient. This makes you kind of feeling uneasy. Having brought our food in different stages for some reason we also had to ask for our simple salad 3 times over, which led to a yes yes reaction but...More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded

charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
