As mentioned in my review of the Castel Sant'Angelo Inn, which is located in the parallel street and is where we stayed during our four day visit to Rome in March 2017, we found Vito’s by chance on our second night, after an underwhelming experience in an overpriced restaurant in the Piazza Navonna. Vito’s is the opposite of the tourist-trap... More

Mr. Ralph who served us gave us a very rude attitude when we asked for a steak sauce for the TBone steak worth 60 Euro that we've ordered (pls. Take note it is only for 1). He told... More

Very cosy place in the very center of Rome. Delicious food for any taste: pasta, soups, risotto, grilled meat, salads and aperitifs - all served and cooked with soul and skill. The interior is cosy and atmospheric. There is a banquet hall with a piano at the ground floor. Friendly and polite personnel speaking multiple languages. There are numerous dishes... More

The food was fine, just a very standard pizza. We noticed two different parties had to send their food back. The staff was kind initially, but when the bill came, the waiters became very pushy. A service fee was included, so we knew it was unnecessary to tip, but the waiter came over and essentially begged us to tip. We... More

Went for an evening meal and the lady member of staff was horrible and in no way should have been part of the restaurant business.the guy who I think was the owner was embarrassed by the constant chaos throughout the floor and kitchen area.the guy did offer us a free meal though but I don't think I'll be back. Sad... More

Rather sloppy service. Forgot half of our order. Food was ok, though. Nice pizzas. Interior fine. Very loud TVs.

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
