The food is average. Nice location near Piazza del Popolo a little less than a classic touristic trap. The gnocchi were good.

We met the owner at the Spanish stairs. We chatted a bit and he gave us the card of his restaurant, promising it would be excellent. He didn't say too much,c it was really great. Delicious, largely homemade Italian food, great wine, at a fair price. We will visit them again!

Met this lovely guy at the bus stop one morning on our way out site seeing. He told us about his restaurant and invited us to come and have dinner there. In all honestly we weren't too sure what to expect... the restaurant was cosy and intimate, lovely atmosphere and we were really impressed with the service and food. The... More

This restaurant bakes its breads and pastas in its' own kitchen and both are the best ever! They have an extensive menu and a wonderful chef. I ate dinner there twice and everything I tasted was superb and beautifully presented. The service is excellent, the servers are friendly and fun and I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. I will definitely... More

We visited this place with my wife at the evening walking towards Piazza del Popolo. It was croudy, but they have managed to place us promptly. So good service has started immediately. Food was reasonable, though nothing special. Until tiramisu arrived:) What was very important is nice atmosphere and lovely service. Therefore, our impression was great.

I was looking for somewhere close to the hotel where we're staying and judging by the reviews this place sounded great. Except that no one mentioned taking a small child with them, so I was a little concerned as to whether we would be welcomed with our 4-year-old in tow. I needn't have worried. The staff couldn't have been more... More

Be careful! From the road side the restaurant looks very appealing; well decorated, nice tablecloths, glasses, plates, cutlery and an attractive menu. We were even welcomed with smiling faces and a free aperitif. Only when we got started did things start going wrong. Bread which was not ordered, but charged for was Ok and forgivable. The starters were not. I... More

Tripadvisor doesnt allow two reviews within a month so I am going to add the two reviews in one. First night we were greeted at the door and given a booth table for 4 which was reserved but for a later time so we already saw they were flexible, Two fruit drinks arrived shortly after and the menus. We ordered... More

Best meal in Rome thus far! The owner was pleasant, staff attentive, and food excellent! Everything we sampled was colorfully plated and tasted fresh. The intimate ambiance and elegant decor only added to the experience. A solid choice for classic Italian fare with most dishes well under 20 euros.

The seafood salad followed by the salted sea bass was superb. Accompanied by a white from Abruzzo. Perfetto!

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
