The ristorante is next door to where we stayed in Rome, and was a wonderful choice for our first night there. We were unwilling to look through nearby restaurant choices, and were enticed by the facade and outdoor seating area. We ate inside, which is lovely. Our food and service were both very good, and we enjoyed our evening there... More

We purposely asked the waiter to take time between courses and so our lunch lasted more than 2 hours. It was perfect. The antipasto selections are great and the pasta was exquisite.

Ristorante Passetto was recommended to us by staff at our B&B, Residenza Ave Roma, and we were so glad we asked "Dove si mangia bene qui vicino?" It was so much to our liking that we kept going back for the 5 nights we were in Rome. the Passetto is just a minute walk from Piazza Navona and not much... More

Sometimes restaurants around the tourist centres of Rome can be a hit or a miss. This place bucks that trend - it was simply fantastic! We had a couple of main courses - bacon, tomato and chilli spaghetti and tagliatelle bolognese. Both were superb. The base tomato sauce was bursting with flavour and had a taste that could only mean... More

Most tourists at this and other restaurants in Italy seem to usually order pizza. But I strongly advise moving beyond these major course. Obviously you also have to try the pizza. But there are so many other fine tasting meals as well. Of the various types of risotto that I have tried result of pistachio is definitely my favorite. It... More

We stopped in here with some local friends on their recommendation. The service was just right, the wine was outstanding and I splurged and got the lobster pasta (can't remember if it was a ravioli tho, I should have done this review right away) and it was literally one of the best pasta experiences of my life! My vegetarian wife... More

My husband and I discovered Passetto after hours of walking around Rome searching for a place for dinner. At the time, we were haunted by the recent memory of a terrible dining experience in the Monti neighborhood of Rome, so we were cautious in our hunt. Upon looking at the Passetto menu, we were impressed by the variety of dishes,... More

This restaurant was close to our hotel and we went there right after arriving about 9pm. The inside of the place is amazing, so much bigger than you would think. The decor brings you back to a different time. I think people sit outside and miss the beauty. We did sit outside in November, but made sure to check it... More

We just came across this place, while having a walk and we decided to choose it. Altogether it was a mistake. The place looks authentic and for sure it is a long standing establishment, but just not good enough. We went for pizzas and lasagna again. The service was good, nothing outstanding, basic attentiveness. The pizza was more or less... More
