Nice place tucked away in a dead-end little street. There is a small terrace outside, but actually inside the place is much bigger. This makes you appreciate why the waitress sometimes takes a bit longer to reach your table. Good starters and pizza at a...More

Many places in the area cater exclusively to tourists and have people outside asking you to come in - this place doesn't and for a reason, many locals go there too, it always seems to be full, as it offers a very good quality pizza....More

The pizzas aren't great, but the reason to come here would be the cosy, informal atmosphere (almost like a German beer-place, with all that thick, dark wood) and the "fritti", i.e. the fried food. Croquettes, cod fillets, supplì... they're tasty, light, cheap and served with...More

We visited this restaurant 4 years ago - and returned now in March 2018. The appearance is not too impressive from the outside - but this is a true jewel. The pizzas are extraordinary - the service is very good - and definitely well worth...More

Neighborhood pizzeria that comes highly recommended. I had the fried artichokes - quartered and rolled in flour (carciofi infarinati). Served with a squeeze of lemon. So good! Pizza Margherita, and house white wine. An after thought was an order of stuffed olives (Olive Ascolane) to...More

Came here for lunch with my husband, at the strong recommendation of our AirBnb host. Despite the place being quite dead when we arrived, every single one of the staff looked annoyed to be there and we felt like we were bothering them with our...More

This place is just off Via Cavour. Great stone-baked pizzas. Other foods available too. Nice bottle Of Moretti to cool me down after walk from Forum. As with many Rome restaurants you can sit outside too.

Just got back from Rome and Carrette was our first port of call. It has been recommended by our AirBNB host and was a short walk from where we were staying. The house wine is very good for the price and comes in a small...More

We chose this restaurant while walking through the Roman streets because we wanted to taste Italian pizza for lunch. It was one of the traditional places - the shady, the pizza oven in the restaurant, the homemade wine and the smiling service. Pizza was very...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
