Tried this place on our last night in Rome because of the ratings. Ravioli was good, but bolognese tasted oil. Restaurant is full of tourists. I would not recommend this place

Dear Daniel, I'm sorry you didn't like our trattoria. Is the fact that we are always full of tourists really a reason why you wouldnt't recommend us? That's a shame. Bye bye

We arrived around 19.30pm, it wasn't busy at all. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and penne all'arabiata. To drink a soda and a beer in a bottle (0,5l). The beer had passed his expiry date.. I asked for a new one and just got a glass...More

Dear Magali T, I'm so sorry but your review has nothing to do with our restaurant. I'm afraid you went to the wrong place. We have no 0.5l beers and we never serve beer in glasses. Moreover, we don't let our guests pay for the...More

As quality of the food is really good. Specially fettuccine ala tavernelle, or caccio e pepe. Always very busy what mean the service cannot be the best for obvious reason. Even so the price is not too bad considering you are in a quite famous...More

We went back to Le Tavernelle after a couple of years, hoping to find the same excellent seafood this restaurant built its fame on. Unfortunately we were really disappointed by the quality of the ingredients and their handling: "sogliola alla mugnaia" was very rubbery, "risotto...More

Very crowded when we were there. No reservation no seat. Locals and tourists. Walls filled with photos of family and previous diners. If you like good food and aren't looking of a quiet and cozy atmosphere then this is it. Service was good for such...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at

It's a historical restaurant near the Colosseum, that offers Roman dishes, meat, fish, no pizza. Air conditioning, free wifi, small pets allowed, disabled inaccessible. Go park the car on the blue parking lots scattered around the area, and have a walk through the evocative streets of the city centre. You can reach us by stepping off the Metro A "Cavour". Characteristic dessert of the place: the Dolcevita, a sort of "panna cotta" without eggs (it was dedicated the the Italian director Fellini, who happened to be allergic to eggs).
