I was dining at this restaurant because I was tired and hungry. There was no one in the restaurant because the lunch time had gone by a bit, it was about 16 pm so the chef could cook in peace. I only got a first...More

Just stopped in on a very hot day when our favorite restaurant was closed for a vacation, I am at blame somewhat for not reading reviews beforehand.....the bruschetta was good, but everything else was downhill from there. The friendly gentleman on the street was very...More

Restaurant was opposite Stendhal Apartments where we were staying, The wife looked at he menu and they invited us in. Explained I only wanted something light and he stated her would do the calamari starter without the prawns at a discount. I was shocked when...More

Had lunch today, seated in room with out-of-comission a/c on a 97/40 degree day. Good caprese salad, mediocre pizza, indifferent service. A misunderstanding between the printed menu, which said "Bread = 3€" (which we declined) and the bill, which charged 3€ per person "cover charge"...More

My husband tells me I plan too much. (And this place is the perfect example on why I do) So heading to the Spanish Steps our very first night in Rome we came across Pepi Claudio outside his restaurant. He seemed kind and was very...More

I wish I had read the reviews before I got sucked in by the con artist outside. Rubbish food, terrible service and so many hidden charges. €33 for a basic lettuce tomatoe and mozzarella salad and a serving of mortadella and bottle of water!

As the other reviews say......and I've only just seen them. Tourist trap. Man outside very nice, welcomes you in. Food average, nothing special. When the bill comes, it's hand written, stuff crossed out. It didn't add up.. We just paid, as who wants the stress...More

Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos,
goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross

the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle
