We popped in on our way back to put hotel. Despite the fact that they were not quite open they were happy to serve us and happy to accomodate my food intolerance. Really good food, good prices and great atmosphere.

Been here twice in two days. Great authentic Roman specialties but somewhat limited menu selection, all good. Many locals, few tourist. Typical Roman specialties. Sometimes they have things not yet on menu - just ask. Service very friendly - chef came out to greet us.

What a brilliant place. Food and service all so good. My group had such a nice evening with the chef personally talking us through the menu in English. Well worth a trip to the Re Di roma for an evening meal!

Been for dinner...the location is on the main road, but car noise does not disturb too much if the evening is on a weekday. Portions are not huge but well prepared. Service is warm and friendly.

What a nice find. The service was great, the enthusiastic presentation of the menu for us was great (we only speak English). The food was simple but well prepared and tasty. Came out very quick but still nice Oso buco and fettuccine Ragu. The tiramisu was the best I ever had. Great atmosphere, this is what a little Italian place... More

We went there because the manager of our hotel recommended the place. We booked a table from the previous day and expected something really good. But actually it was nothing different then the other restaurants in the area. Service was good, food was good, but nothing special. We were most disappointed from the manager / owned. We ordered bottle of... More

Having heard only good things about this place I was really disappointed with my meal there. Apart from being served warm beer, I thought the food was average considering the price I paid for it. Calamari ripieni (being plural) turned out to be one, that was tepid and, considering the pasta took half an hour to come out, came out... More

I can def tell this is a family run restaurant. No Frills- Just good authentic italian food. Service was a bit slow and food took forever to come out- BUT, flavors were amazing! Osso buco was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Very reasonably price, would def be going back the next time I travel to rome.

The B&B we were staying at recommended this place and I have to say it is hands down the best place I've ever ate at. First let me start by saying I do not speak Italian but the waiter was no where near annoyed with me when I asked a thousand questions. He was so helpful. I highly recommend the... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our B&B. It was just five minutes away from the B&B so on our first evening we decided to try it out. It's not a fancy restaurant with white table clothes and flowers on the table but they serve good home cooked food. Although some of the other reviews said that the menu... More
