Beautiful setting but unfortunately the service and the food let it down. Our waiter seemed disinterested and hasty. The food was ok but nothing special and lacking real taste (we ordered simple dishes, carbonara, cheese gnocchi and tomato ravioli). I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a gastronomic experience.

Great location in the Monti district overlooking the fountain in the piazza Madonna. We breakfasted here every day and had an evening meal once. Friendly, efficient staff.

Bottega del Caffe was a good choice after a full day in Rome. We ordered pizza prosciutto e fungi (it is big enough for 1 person, not so small as they told us), pasta carbonara and proseco. Quick service, tasty food. We liked it ! We choose a table outside. The place is very small but is cozy. Nice atmosphere... More

Great coffee and tiramisu, but pasta and lasagna weren't that good. Location is very nice, especially the tables outside.

Good quality, but if you are hungry you may go to another place. The price is a bit expensive for the quantity you eat.

Popped in for a quick, late lunch when we first arrived in Rome. Best pizza I had all weekend, it was thin but not brittle and so fresh and flavoursome. My husband had a very nice sandwich, a good coffee and a tiramisu – this was more custard than sponge but still nice. The service was mixed – one friendly... More

Been here several times and the food and coffee is always nice. The square itself offers a nice and calm spot in the bustling area of Monti - so it's a nice break when walking around Rome. Service is courteous and attentive.

On a sunny afternoon in February, this was a perfect spot to take the weight off your feet and enjoy a quick coffee and a bowl of spaghetti - perfectly cooked and delicious. An a lovely little square too. Just how Rome should be.

We preferred to be inside rather than out. There was more room and more comfort. Dare we say it but the Piazza Madonna dei Monti with its fountain was rather a let down. Appeared scruffy with rubbish on the cobbles, and the row of dumper waste bins along the gutter did not help with the appearance. Good place to sit... More
