My family and I had a fantastic dinner. We ordered many seafood dishes and finished them clean! The place was small but cozy. The restaurant gave us drinks on the house and the service was friendly and outstanding. Warning, the restaurant does not take credit card!

What a lovely meal. I cannot express how great this little unassuming restaurant is. Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful service and great food.

We ate here for lunch, close to the time at which the kitchen was to close. The waiter somewhat hurried us to get our order in for this reason, and then was extremely apologetic for having done so (without our being visibly disapproving) and took 20% off of the bill. The 'original' fettuccini alfredo was excellent -- I was surprised... More

We had an amazing dinner at Alfredo, starting with delicately batter-fried vegetables, cold fish, antipasto, artichokes and raviolis. We had pasta for an entree, and each was delicious--alfredo, bolognese, and an artichoke/bacon pasta. A meal to remember!

We had a lovely evening here, waiter was very attentive but not overly, saw my Grandson had his phone and asked if he would like the WIFI password, godsend for a youngster. Food was tasty and well presented.

We booked a table at this restaurant due to a recommendation. The restaurant had a main dining area and a small annex. Despite there being plenty of room in the main area we where showed to a table in the annex. Im not sure if this was to give us privacy or something else but we do felt like we... More

My husband and I went here for dinner on our first night in Rome. It was opposite our hotel and going by by the previous reviews we thought it looked nice. We arrived at about 7.30 and went in, the waiter sat us down and gave us menus. The front door remained open and it was freezing, we couldn't take... More

I have been threre before, unremarkable, but at least reliable. Something has gone very wrong since then. OK, it was awkward time, about 4pm. But room was freezing cold, I had to put a coat back on. Mixed fish grill was the worse ever, 2 small sides of a very bony fish, small rubber like calamari roll and 4 burnt... More

After spending a few hours in the Vatican we went to eat a heavenly fettuccine alfredo at Alfredo Ristorante. The service, food, wine and deserts were all excellent. We also had a great time looking at all the pictures of the Alfredo family sharing their wonderful fettuccine alfredo with kings, stars and notorious figures from all over the world.

Description
Ristorante Alfredo Roma is quite simply the epitome of Roman dining. A cosy, unimposing restaurant in the centre of town with a warm and welcoming atmosphere greets you as you step in from the bustling Via Principe Amedeo. Inside a barely signposted red painted building, only found by a long awning covering street side tables, is a stone arched room surrounded by classical style sepia murals. A large, well stocked bar catches your eye as you enter, tempting you with a pre-dinner drink before moving on to the menu, a traditional Italian delight. Lasagne and bruschetta, so typical, is matched only by the staff for true Italian personality.
