Been there 4 times out of the past five years and I've had the same meal three times! Maybe I hit the same day of the week 3 times! But they really should vary their menu more. As It's still fun the first time you go because there's no menu and they give you a lot of food and the... More

We were in Rome for five days and enjoyed great meals every day. The Trattoria Der Pallaro was the best. It wasn't the fanciest, or the cheapest or the most expensive but it was the best. The food was authentic, fresh and plentiful. It was also delicious in a way that was both interesting and satisfying. It is a traditional... More

I have been here 10 years ago and was back this weekend. It was amazing to discover the food is still the best in Rome, ambiance and service are still very home-like and warm. Highly recommend it!

Nothing more to be said; this is a no-nonsense trattoria, home cooked food, wine in kitchen glasses. Quick service, friendly staff - for hungry travellers on a budget..

Fixed menu with home-made food, fair food, big portions. The food is not spectacular but the place seems authentic.

My wife and I ate here fifteen years ago after reading a recommendation in a travel guide. The author was spot on, and the meal we had then warranted the listing. As we were staying close to the Campo dei Fiori for our 25th wedding anniversary recently, we thought we'd look this place up again - and were pleasantly surprised... More

This is a great place, its like going to someone's house and the sweet old lady makes you food and brings it out as it's ready. Nothing fancy, but great local food. Great house wine which comes with the meal. I would defiantly try it. Great experience!!

Stopped by Nonna's no menu, fixed price trattoria for lunch on a very busy Saturday while visiting the Campo d'fiori. The fare was solid, filling and to my mind, just what was needed that day. Others have mentioned that it was a "tourist trap". Looking around, we were the only tourists in that day for lunch. Quickly seated, we were... More
