Antica Taverna is a place that treats its customers well. When you arrive, they bring you a complimentary prosecco (or hot wine in the winter), and a focaccia as soon as you sit down. The food is good and simple Italian cooking, prices are very reasonable, the house wine is good, and there are no hidden fees, so no surprises... More

There are many restaurants serving this quality of food in Rome. Good but not special. The slow cooked pork was very good and the prices are cheap. Decor is tired with the usual checked table cloths and bric brac hanging from the ceiling. Cheerful service and some outside tables

We were there on our next to last night, and had a really nice meal. It was a nice atmosphere, but it could have been improved by the tables being farther apart; I had to ask the lady on the table next to me to move so I could go to the bathroom.

This restaurant was a mix of bad stuff... the food was cold, not really tasty, they tried to introduce the bread in our accounts, even if we didn't want to try it, and the price was a bit high for what they were offering. Next time we check the critics before eating in an Italian Restaurant.

We happened upon this place while strolling around central Rome, and ended up having a nice dinner here. We sat a table outdoors, and enjoyed the atmosphere of a cozy little cobblestone street in Rome. The food was good, and prices comparable to similar restaurants, and the service was friendly. Overall, we quite enjoyed our dinner here, and wouldn't mind... More

A local women suggested this restaurant to us and it was awesome! For €14 we got a dish of Lasange (this lasange was daaaam good, the best I ate so far). For the next dish we go a kind of chicken with bacon and potatoes, also very tasty! Also included in the €14 was a glass of wine (not the... More

As soon as we entered Al 34 Ristorante, we were made to feel at home...all the usual of course, but also the waiter's knowledge of London and chat-chat-chat and generally being totally nice. Food is so-so, but the menu is inexpensive, and certainly, although the food is not brilliant, we enjoyed ourselves....and, I think that the most important thing when... More

Good location with plenty of streetside atmosphere. Probably a bit too much as it appeared that the owner was giving the staff a very loud dressing down in the street right next to our table. Food was ok although my pizza dough was raw and the topping stingy. Service not bad although gave the impression that the place was run... More

They seem charming but food is really bad, we waited 1hour to eat after one another (they couldn't manage to bring the food at the same time) and then they were really rude and impertinent!!! Avoid it at all costs!

I really love italian food. Sorry for this bad rewiev, but it wasn't good there. The pasta was tasteless,in general the meal didn't look very tempting. We ordered pizza, spagheti carbonara and bolognes and the second one was the worst. I don't to recommend this restauration. Waste of money... Only waiter was nice.

Thank Lenka S
