After some searching around we stumbled across this place and had a very enjoyable evening. Atmosphere and food was very good and the wine was great. It is a big place though and wasn't full which is a shame as more people need to go...More

The place is very authentic and historical. I would say it is a must go if you are looking for a candle light dinner. Not for the food (it is ok, but nothing special), but for the athmosphere.

Very authentic! Indoor and outdoor seating was superb!! We ate out on the balcony. Food was amazing, fresh tasting and plentiful. The owners here are fantastic, as well!!!

Really nice and cosy restaurant in a quiet hidden piazza in Trastevere. We were lucky we found the place, it was raining lots and didn't want to walk far from our apartment. Once inside.... we both were absolutely amaze. Decoration is impressive, you feel like...More

There is a huge choice of restaurants in Trastevere but this one is certainly different. From the outside it looks as if it is closed but climb up the steps and you find yourself in a unique setting as if you had walked into a...More

Was just walking around and stumbled across this restaurant. Was very quiet, as I was there early, so my service and food was very good. I had some Bruschetta and then salsiccio di montagne. Got a beer and then 1/2 carafe of house red •...More

From the outside it is not always obvious this restaurant is open. But climb the stairs and enter the beautiful space decorated with old farm implements and soft lighting and be pleasantly surprised. We ate perfectly grilled quail and sea bass and enjoyed the usual...More

We were walking past this restaurant going to another and it looked so beautiful that we had to stop in. The first night there wasn’t that many people and neither was the night we ate. I love the place, it’s like going back in time....More

The restaurant is located in an old warehouse, nicely decorated in a rustic way. Their speciality is grilled meat that was very good at a reasonable price. An adequate wine list complemented the food. Service was good and the place was not noisy. All in all...More

The food was OK, we ordered pizza and bruschetta and they were tasty. Wine is not bad but could definitely be better. However our waiter Dario was quite funny and we enjoyed his service. Plus the restaurant location and decor are quite nice.

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
