On a December evening the restaurant was cold, not a good start. The staff were abrupt, not rude but abrupt. Eating alone I wanted wine by the glass but all they could offer was a Sardegna Vermentino, OK but any supermercato stocks it. The risotto al mare had a good selection of seafood but the rice was a bit hard,I... More

Why run a restaurant when you have no clue about guest experience? Why bother at all?? Does a restaurant business stop at the kitchen counter? The food here might be good but everything else sucks!! And this was not a 'snub tourist' experience as the entire, clueless, wait staff were non-Italian. An international burger chain would offer better visit experience!

I went last night for dinner with my colleague. We enjoyed a nice bottle of white wine called Fiano di avellino. As a starter we ordered warm fish seafood which was a mix of different plates, such as octopus with spinach, prawns. As main we ordered two dishes of pasta and they were excellent. The staff was very friendly and... More

I had lunch in this very nice a talked about restaurant in Rome close to the Colosseum with three other friend. We ordered raw fish to start, no surprises there. Fish was fresh and well presented. The cooked antipasti were definitely not what I expected, tastless or over-grilled.I would consider some changes. We then ordered a Catalana of scampi and... More

We walked 500 steps from the Colosseum and came to Iside. They said they were a seafood specialty restaurant and we said, yes, that is what we love. They gave us a welcome drink of procecco that was quite good. We like spicy food and they got us calabrerse peppers in oil. We got 5 appetizers that they recommended and... More

Yes you come to Italy for great Pizza and pasta but this restaurant is one of a kind. Never expected to eat sea food as fresh as this in Rome. Actually one of the best raw fish I have ever eaten anywhere. And the presentation is superb. Only bad note is the greeting. We walked in with no reservation but... More

We had one of the best fresh seafood dinners ever here! The fish was being delivered as we were ordering and everything was perfect! We actually let the owner, Fredrico, choose our courses and wine and each was better than the one before! We had Tuna tartar, sea bass and shrimp carpaccio, oysters, fried calamari, mussels and giant prawns, pasta... More

Honestly I can't understand how anyone could say anything bad about this restaurant! The top quality food and service were sensational. We were recommended this place from a local. We went for lunch after a visit to the coliseum. We were very underdressed as this is an upscale restaurant with mostly locals but we were greeted very warmly with a... More

Very good raw fish and seafood. Good wine list. Service a bit patchy towards the end of the evening. Remember pesce crudo is always a bit expensive ... nice place though.

Dressed up a little more than we normally would one evening in Rome, and it was a good thing we did!! The reviews on the restaurant didn't indicate how nice this place was, definitely a "$$$" restaurant by TA standards. The menu was confusing with regards to pricing, and the English translation only a part of the Italian one and... More
