Matriciana was excellent but servants at the table had a morose face, interiors are like a common italian trattoria

Had a nice lunch they were very busy but the service was fine. I had veal and it was good quality and the wine reasonably priced. Just what was needed.

The food was disgusting and the service was awful and very rude. They argue us when we gave back one of the inedible dishes.

Bad service and even worse food. We had two different plates of pasta and carpaccio. The pasta sauce was from a can, and the carpaccio was full of fat and thick thick cut.Very bad experience.

Excellent food and good value for money. The antipasti seemed endless, the Carbonara, real, and the steak 'ai ferri' rare without a drop of blood. All in all one of the best meals I had in Rome!

Simple pasta dish with house wine was just the thing to end the day. Menu appears varied and our meal was made with very fresh ingredients.

This place was recommend to us from a barmaid in a pub 50 yards away. I'd asked her if she knew somewhere for authentic Italian food. She said it was mainly used by Italians and very few tourists go there. Perfect:) The food was fabulous as was the house red. We had starters, mains, wine and coffee and the bill... More

Rude, surly, inefficient service for which they had the effrontary to add a 15% charge to the bill. Patchy food. The fettuccine and cannelloni were ok. The risotto was one of the worst dishes I have ever tasted in Italy. The coda alla vaccinara was decent but the fegato all veneto was pretty awful - sweet with an uncooked wine... More

A dozen tables outside at this corner restaurant close to Via Giulia. Green checked table clothes, large shade umbrellas and a good varied menu of fish, meat and pasta. Service was a rather misinterpreted but the simple plate of spaghetti carbonara was very good and fair value at EUR 10
