This restaurant is located at the top of a small piazza around the corner from DeFiori. It has three other pizzeria around the piazza. It's high position gives it a good outlook and its table settings are much higher quality than its neighbours. The meals were good, especially the grilled chicken. The steak in green peppercorn sauce ok but not... More

After a warm day sightseeing we ate inside, however the three doors were open so it remained cool or this would have been a full 5 stars. The staff were helpful with suggestions and approved our wine selection. We skipped the starters, but enjoyed superb pasta followed by the best saltimbocca accompanied by rosemary roast potatoes and artichokes. After coffee... More

Da Pancrazio is a restaurant run by a very friendly family. The restaurant is in an old building. The owner likes to show you the cellar where Julius Caesar was murdered. The food is real homecooking.

Just about a block from the bustle of the Campo dei Fiori, Da Pancrazio offers a quiet haven with great food and service. The real treat is a trip to the cellar to see the foundation of Pompey's theater. Wow!

We ate at Da Pancrazio in the heart of Rome for evening dinner. The restaurant is downstairs of the France Embassy in the ruins of of an ancient theatre, giving the feeling of being part of Roman history. Our chosen starter of vignarola Allan Romano con crostini e pancetta was a unique combination of green peas, artichokes, fava beans, and... More

We are staying in an apartment nearby. We saw this restaurant with tables outside from our window. We stopped for a glass of wine. During our time there, a waiter brought a leaflet and told us to go downstairs. It was the west most portion of one of the theaters from the Roman times! It extended eastward and originally held... A friend and I had lunch at this place. The location was lovely and quiet in a sort of vest-pocket little square or "largo". The service was fairly good. My lunch companion commented that she found the menu a bit misleading in terms of the descriptions of the dishes. I had pasta with ceci (chick peas) which was disappointingly dull.... More

I love this beautiful restaurant near Campo Dei Fiori with the sculpture of Giordano Bruno Who Was burned here. Rome always is telling you her millenian history. In this restaurant descending a lotte stairway you 'll find a little part of the ancient Theatre of Pompeo where Giulio Cesare was killed. Very typical roman dishes
