Went to La Carbonara for lunch on a Saturday with no reservation and got a table right away. I didn’t have any problems with the service as mentioned in other reviews and wasn’t ignored. The lady (perhaps one of the owners) was actually very sympathetic....More

As stated in many of the other reviews, don't come here expecting service from a pleasant waiter/waitress. The food is good but since the service staff were so rude we decided to have coffee elsewhere. Even getting the check to pay for lunch seemed like...More

It doesn't matter how they are serving delicious food but it is a matter that the owner of the restaurant is so rude.

As soon as we walked in the owner told us we cannot sit if we did not book. That I can accept. What I didn't accept was that I asked a couple next to me if they booked. They said NO and that the waiter...More

We had an unpleasant experience with this restaurant. We showed up by 20.30 knowing that it was difficult to find a table for two given the popularity of the place. We were told to come back by 22.00 and we would definetly find a table....More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at

We went for lunch without booking. Were told 1hr waiting which we did to get away from the heat. Had some wine at the bar and chatted away with on the the brothers. I think we ended up waiting 20/30min. I am glad we did!
